Deise Clements, CPA

Deise Clements is a fractional CFO and the founder of Exceleré. Her work is focused on operational efficiency and effectiveness — finding the friction in how a business actually runs and removing it, so the founder ends up with more profit, more cash, and more time outside the work.

A representative example: for a service-business founder who had spent years stuck below $500K in revenue, Deise's CFO advisory work grew the business from $420K to $620K at 40%+ net profit margins. Over the engagement, the founder hired an executive assistant, began running her own events, and started closing fractional hygiene director sales at premium prices.

Alongside the CFO work, Deise built an Airtable system that consolidated billing, contracts, deliverables, direct costs, gross profit, events, and sponsorships into one source of truth — eliminating the duplicative manual labor and error-prone spreadsheets the business had relied on. The Airtable system became central to the business for both finance and operations.

Deise began her career in public accounting, audit-trained at Argy, Wiltse & Robinson (acquired by BDO USA). Between her audit career and founding Exceleré in 2022, she started her family and pursued entrepreneurial ventures of her own — experiences that taught her the realities of founder-led business from the inside, and clarified the kind of financial leadership most small-business owners actually need but rarely have access to.

Outside of work, Deise enjoys bike riding, dancing, and a good massage. She reads widely on AI and the new automation tools being built around it.
